  TSNAP Membership

Who Can Join TSNAP?
Active TSNAP membership is open to anyone who has job responsibilities for testing.  We do have associate memberships for those who have an interest in school assessment but who do not have jobs with direct responsibility for testing.
 Membership Year
Previously TSNAP memberships ran from the date of the State Assessment Conference to the next conference.  The TSNAP membership voted in the Spring of 2011 to constitutionally change the TSNAP Memberships dates to coincide with a traditional school financial calendar of September 1st through August 31st.

 Benefits of TSNAP Membership
  • TSNAP promotes professionalism among assessment specialists.

  • TSNAP promotes increased communication among testing professionals across the state.  One example is the joint sponsorship of four TETN teleconferences each year on student assessment.

  • TSNAP maintains a positive working relationship with TEA and Pearson Educational Measurement benefiting all of us who work in testing.

  • TSNAP is one of the partners that participates in planning for the Texas Assessment Conference.

  • TSNAP plans and conducts new test coordinator academies in the fall of each year in conjunction with Pearson Educational Measurement and the Student assessment Division of TEA.

  • TSNAP provides a website that gives the latest up-to-date information.

Cost of Membership
Annual membership in TSNAP is $25.
